A Typical Roof Mounted Installation

We wanted to share a photo of this pv system as it is representative of our most typical solar install. At 7.28 kW, this system size is our most popular. Systems in this size range will cover 100% of a typical home's energy costs. The client's electric bill has been averaging about $12.00/month ever since installation, with most of that money going to cover unavoidable utility fees. A system of this system size will also provide serious savings to homeowners with large square footages who are energy conscious or perhaps part-time residents.

This system is also typical in that it is a flat-roof install, like most of the homes in our area. Though working with a tile roof is only slightly more expensive, flat roofs like this one allow for the easiest and most economical solar installations. Panels are placed in rows as close together as possible, but yet far enough apart to avoid shading eachother when the sun angle is low during winter. Our software allows us to calculate this spacing with precision, and also allows us to fit panels neatly around roof obstacles such as vents or skylights.
